Equip your Boe-Bot (or any robot) to make a 180° sweep of its environment to locate and determine the location and distance to obstacles with the "PING))) Ultrasonic Distance Sensor." Great for autonomous navigation, or to hone in on a specific object; includes a Parallax Standard Servo, aluminum brackets and complete mounting hardware.

With the purchase of a few additional components identified in the documentation for this product you can also mount a Parallax Hitachi HM55B Compass Module (link to page) on the same bracket.
